Time to combine them
Two dishes on repeat is a good problem. It means the jar works. It also means you've found one thing you like and stopped there. That's completely normal, and it's also where most people leave the best part on the table.
The upgrade isn't a new recipe. It's a second jar.
Dan Dan on its own is great. Dan Dan and Pei Pei together is a different thing entirely. One brings the chili sesame depth, the other brings brightness and salt. May May adds the creamy, nutty body.
Any two of them on noodles. Any three. There's no wrong combination, and the ratios are yours to figure out.
And take them off the noodles
If you've only used them one way, the fastest way to double your range is to put them somewhere unexpected:
- Over a fried egg, runny yolk, on rice
- Stirred into mayo and spread on a sandwich
- On roasted broccoli or cauliflower, straight out of the oven
- Spooned over cold silken tofu
- Mixed into ground pork for dumplings or meatballs
- Stirred into plain yogurt as a dip
- Inside a grilled cheese
These are starting points, not recipes. Swap in whatever you actually have.
